Montana hunters have seen a decrease of private land to hunt in receint decades.  With the Homestead situated in a secluded area of the Helena National Forest with few residential parcels we decided this was an opportunity for hunters to enjoy the sport.  We have 158+ acres (almost 2 is taken by the forest road) to hunt and enjoy.  Guides need permission from the Forestry to take hunters on forest land, but private hunters do noe.  This leaves access to the forest land to experienced hunters to enjoy.

Because Deer/Elk season is after school starts there should be fewer children and other campers to be concerned about.  However, we do ask all hunters to practice safe hunting and abide by ALL of Montana's rules and regulations.
